Teen Talk seminar (ended)
The purpose of this seminar is to help volunteers of Reading Beyond Borders improve on their communication skills and engage children through story-telling.
The flow of the sessions consisted of: an intro to Levra and our guest speaker, followed by some advice on reading from them, and ending with games to keep our participants engaged. These sessions were funded by Rising Youth and we could not thank them enough for it! I believe, these Teen Talks were very informative and it was great seeing the RBB volunteers participating throughout the sessions!
At Levra, we open our doors to people from all walks of life to learn, teach, mentor, share their talents and experiences. We believe that everyone is unique and with that uniqueness comes the ability to serve and uplift another person’s life. Since 2020, the team has been putting together meaningful programs with the purpose of creating active human connections and balancing technology with social interactions.
